HELLOPIKE.COM is mine again! PLUS- Shop Update!

So years ago, I owned "hellopike.com" and I let the registration lapse, and someone swooped in and bought it out from under me.  It finally showed back up as available and I got it back!  I'm psyched to get it back.

In other news, I've updated my web store (hellopike.bigcartel.com) with some recent customs as well as a few flashes from the past- some customs I painted and kept in the personal collection! It's all available now and there may very well be more in the near future!

It's been a while.

Wow, it's been some time since I was around these parts...  Time to dust off the website.  If you've been here recently, it's probably because you bought my first toy- the bootleg kinkeshi Kinnikuthulhu, or one of my custom painted finger puppets.  Both done for NYCC 2012.  Either way, THANK YOU!  It is the first toy of my own making.  Thanks go to Eric Nilla for casting and molding it, and thanks to Tyler for helping me out along the way!

There will be more Kinnikuthulhu's available in the future, hopefully sooner then later.  I'll update more here later when I get those things ironed out.

I will also be part of an official collaboration with one of the most inspired new Sofubi/kaiju makers real soon.  I'm just waiting on some mail to arrive.  I'll update that with some teasers when I get it.

And also, there will always be customs.  I love painting toys, and I'd love to paint your toys.  If you'd like me to paint for you, either as a commission or a collaboration send me an email directly, or shoot me a PM on skullbrain.  I'd love to work something out!

With that I leave you with the promise that I will update this blog, and maybe once I get my damn iphone upgrade in the mail I'll try instragram and twitter...  But I can't promise anything.

 Kinnikuthulhu's Debut!
This was my haul from NYCC.  Whoo!

Update, New Customs, etc..

Its been a while, I've been busy painting as usual.  Here's some pics of newer stuff in case you missed it at flickr:

Pocket Helper for Aaron for helping me finally get an S-Taiin mini!  Whoo!

A scary bloody zombie Helper heading along with the Scary Bloody Rangeas and Clownish Rangeas all to Max!

Neopolitan style Damnedron for Brenda!

Oh yeah, and I also to a super small run of Glyos customs (with Matt Doughty's blessing) for some of the folks on October Toys that missed the CC4 wave.  I call it the CC4 Reinforcement wave, and they're being send out random to the 10 folks on the list.  Here's the header for it:

Next up for me is NYCC!  It's my first big Con outside of Philadelphia-  I'm just going as a fan, but I'm hoping to meet some of the folks I've befriended online over the years, and I think I might have a custom or two with me in case anyone is interested.
