Today to go along with the new update is the opening of the Lunatic Fringe store!  Just click on "For Sale" picture with the awesome double skulls and you'll be taken to where you'll find select custom toys painted by yours truly and in the future who know what else!  Check back often as new and different items will pop up!

Glyos Custom Corps!

Well, earlier in the week I finally finished!  The painting of my Official  Glyos Custom Corps is done and I just had to share  some pics!  It took quite a while, but I'm so happy I got the opportunity!  Thanks to Matt and Jesse and all the Glyos crew, Roy, and everybody on October Toy forum!  Stay tuned here for more teasers, maybe some "in-progress" shots taken over the last few months, and be sure to keep an eye out on Glyos.com for the official  announcement!  For now though I've posted teasers in a few spots around the web:  Here, Skullbrain forums, October Toy Forum, and my flickr.  Go check 'em out and tell me what you think!

Rangeas

These are a few custom Rangeas I painted in 2009-  I wanted to post them here for the sake of having a record of them on the site.  Rangeas is my favorite Kaiju toy to paint, I could paint them all day.  I love all the character  that just pours out on this toy.

Just in time for Easter!
While I'm waiting on some special parts for the Glyos project I am working on I decided to actually get around to painting some of the Japanese vinyl I've got, and I started with one of my favorite toys- Rangeas by T9G.

Rangeas here turned out pretty Easter-ish, the initial plan wasn't anything like this all, he was going to be black with red highlights and green horns.  I started with the beard, and then I just went from there and instead of black he turned out purple and blue and given the time of year I figured I'd go with it. ;)  The horns were left bare, to show the original vinyl in some way.  Now my good buddy Joe over at Kaiju Chronicle painted am Easter themed Rangeas last year for the ICFSB1 show, so yeah I'm taking your idea Joe, whatcha gonna do about it?

There's been some sadness lately- Kaiju-Taro isn't shipping V-color to the USA anymore... So the following group has been my farewell to v-color. I'll be painting until I run out, painting some things that I've always wanted to paint... hopefully. Sayonara V-color.
















These two were paited for the ICFSB show, but didn't make the final cut- The Barbarian has found a new home, but the Rangeas is available if anyone is interested!
